H3 Max Credits and Pricing
Understand H3 Max credits, H3 Max Turbo and H3 Max rates, reference-input charges, subscriptions, credit packs, expiry, and refunds.
The H3 Max workspace uses credits so generation costs can be estimated before a task starts, reserved while it runs, and settled when the provider reports final usage. This page explains the current credit logic and available plans. The live Pricing page, checkout screen, and dashboard balance are authoritative if a displayed amount changes.
Generation credit rates
The current application uses these base rates:
| Generation item | Site credits |
|---|---|
| H3 Max Turbo 480P output | 10 credits per output second |
| H3 Max Turbo 768P output | 15 credits per output second |
| H3 Max 480P output | 20 credits per output second |
| H3 Max 768P output | 30 credits per output second |
| Reference tokens beyond the first 4096 | 8 credits per additional 1000 tokens |
These are site credits, not currency, provider credits, or raw fal tokens.
Reference mode charges
Reference mode uses the H3 Max reference-to-video endpoint and charges output at the H3 Max 768P rate. In addition, the first 4096 reference tokens are included and any remaining reference tokens are charged at 8 credits per additional 1000 tokens.
The application reserves enough credits before creating the task, then settles the final charge after the provider response is available. If less usage is billed than reserved, the unused portion is refunded automatically.
Estimates and final charges
The playground estimate depends on model, duration, resolution, mode, and the reference assets you attach. The task record distinguishes:
- Credits reserved: temporarily held before submission.
- Credits charged: the amount retained after settlement.
- Credits refunded: reserved credits returned because a task failed, was cancelled, or used less than the reservation.
- Settled time: when the final accounting decision was recorded.
Do not resubmit the same job repeatedly because progress appears slow. Each accepted request can reserve and charge its own credits.
Monthly subscriptions
| Plan | Price | Monthly credits | Intended use |
|---|---|---|---|

| Pro | $59/month | 5,500 | Growing production volume |
| Studio | $99/month | 10,000 | High-volume creation and priority support |
Subscription credits are added for the active billing period and currently expire after 30 days.
One-time credit packages

Welcome credits
New accounts receive 100 welcome credits under the current site configuration.
Estimate examples
Five-second H3 Max Turbo 768P text to video:
5 × 15 = 75 credits
Ten-second H3 Max 768P text to video:
10 × 30 = 300 credits
Five-second H3 Max reference generation:
5 × 30 = 150 credits plus any reference-token charges beyond the first 4096 free tokens
What happens when a task fails
The API route reserves credits before contacting the provider. If the immediate provider request fails, the application returns the reservation. If an asynchronous task later reaches failed or cancelled status, status settlement refunds the relevant reservation.
Billing safety
Never share Stripe checkout details, API keys, Google credentials, or full card numbers with support. The site should only need your account email, Stripe receipt or session reference, task ID, and time to investigate a billing issue.
